Deleted pay history

Good morning.  Last month there was a error in one of our pay runs so went into employees - pay history and deleted that pay - Saved.  Re-ran the payrun, but I just went to check my IRD report and there is an extra pay included (amounts are to high).  

 

Is there a way I can overwrite these figures? or have I missed a step when re-running the pays?

The pay was deleted from the employees pay history.  does that not delete it entirely?  My major problem is with the IR348 as the figures are incorrect

Hi @Pram

 

If you are using MYOB Essentials provided that you have navigated to the employee's pay history, selected the del cross and selected Save that pay should have been deleted.

 

If you are finding that the pay has not been deleted it is likely that you have not selected the Save option on the employee's card after completing that action. 

 

In your case, I would check the Pay History of that employee to see if that pay has been deleted, if not action that request again and ensure that Save has been selected. If you are still thinking the IR 348 is appearing incorrectly I would go to Payroll>>Past Pay runs, sort the window by the Pay on Date (i.e. click that header). This would show you the pays sorted by month you can then go through that the Summaries for that month to determine the value that should be appearing and compare that with the IR348 report for the same period.

Hi @Pram, I had assumed you were using MYOB Payroll not Essentials. In MYOB payroll, changes to pays need to be recorded as pays, because various other tables are updated by that process.
