EXO Payroll - Email PaySlip Failure

We have EXO Payroll installed on a fully patched windows server 2008r2,

The Email Payslip wizard is not sending any email.

I have tested the SMTP server using a diagnostics tool and it is working and accessible form the same system.

When the "send email asynchronously" option is ticket there is no error and the email looks to be sent successfully. However this is not the case and no connection to the SMTP server is made.
If  the "send email asynchronously" is not ticked the email summary show the error: "2 - Couldnt connect to server"

Running wireshark packet capture shows the MYOB Email Payslip is not even handshaking with the SMTP server.
The connection details are 100% correct and tested in another program on the same server.

I am convinced this is an issue with MYOB (possibly this specific installation) v 2016.02

Any one have any ideas or having similar issue??

Re: EXO Payroll - Email PaySlip Failure

Issue resolved.
Turns out you cannot specify port number for default SMTP server. The port field must be left empty if using port 25
