Emailing payslips - Blank payslips received

I have had ongoing issues with our employees receiving blank payslips - does anyone know of a fix for this.  I'm almost at the point of changing our payroll programme because this is so frustrating!  It has only started happening since the last installation update - all was working fine prior to this.  I'd appreciate any advice thanks.

Hi there @Pearson1

Make sure there are not blank characters in any of the payslip messages. I know this has caused the payslips to be partially blank. Are you getting anything at all? Have you tried to send to pdf to see if they save correctly. Are you using smtp or Outlook settings?

Hi there,

It's really strange - because some payslips are completely blank, with only the employees name at the top.  Some have a couple of lines including their pay details, but that's it.  Others are coming through with just a blank sheet with no text at all.  There's no pattern with who is getting blank/normal - it appears to be random!  I've tried using SMTP (my settings are smtp.officemail.co.nz) and the outlook option - makes no difference.  HELP!!!

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find it a wealth of knowledge. If you do have enquires don't hesitate to post them so the MYOB Community can assist.

 

When you go to send an email or print the payslips the PDF writer is used to assist with the creation of the payslip. Can you please change your printer to PDF and print the payslip. Is the contents able to be read when you do this? 

 

What version of outlook are you currently using with the payroll software? Can you please try right clicking on the payroll icon and selecting run as administrator and try the email again, does this work?
