Extra week annual leave- one off

Extra week annual leave- one off

As part of salary reviews this year some staff have been given 5 days extra leave instead of a pay increase. This is a one off for this year only.

How do I enter the extra annual leave days into the payroll system ?

In the Empoyee Maintenance screen - Leave details tab, there is a box  called "Plus adjustments"  To me this is where it should go, but I can't enter anything directly into that box.

Hi @diane1234

Are you using MYOB Payroll or Essentials? To increase the amount of leave - you would need to add the hours required to the Annual leave owing amount as a one off.

Thanks for your feedback and we absolutely appreciate your input @jenniek.

 

The other way for adding one-off Annual Leave would be to do a one-off pay-run and finalise the pay or that staff only with the following:

 

+40 hours ORD Time

- 40 hours ANHL

 

I have worked the following example for you. 

 

Claire has 34 hours Current Annual Leave Due

2.  Enter her Pay Details to add Annual Leave once off for the year explaining using the Notes.

Once I process her pay see the ANHL balance on her pay slip.

Thank you so much Riena,

That will work. And it  will have the added benifit of showing the date when the extra annual leave was added  on the Employee leave reports.
