Installing Accountright and Payroll on new laptop

Hi there,

I've had to purchase a new laptop and I'm trying to download Accountright and Payroll onto it.

I've logged into my.myob.co.nz and downloaded Accountrigh 2015.4 and Payroll but when I try to install it nothing happens. Can someone please help me?

I can see a payroll icon sitting in C:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\Temp\pft1~tmp\Setup   and when I double click on it I  received the following error message: The program can't start becuase MSVCR71.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

Can some one please help me? I urgently need to get accountright and payroll installed so I can carry on with my work

Thanks in advance Smiley Happy

Re: Installing Accountright and Payroll on new laptop

I've managed to install Accountright 2015.4 but payroll still wont install. When I double click on MYOB_Payroll_2015 it asks me if I want to install and then a window appears saying that its unpacking the file and then nothing happens. HELP!! Smiley Sad

Re: Installing Accountright and Payroll on new laptop

Hi @Kowhai1

This is interesting, I have seen this happen with Payroll installations before. It will sometimes not get past the unpacking phase.

May I ask, does a screen appear that says "Yes to All" as an option. And after you click onto this, it simply doesn't do anything?

Hope to hear from you!
Tingety.

Re: Installing Accountright and Payroll on new laptop

Hi Smiley Happy

Yep that is what happens, I click 'yes to all' and then it does nothing more, its really frustrating. I've tried a handful of times now to install it and each time the same thing happens.

Do you know how to fix it?

Thanks in advance Smiley Happy
