Job Costing in Payroll - New Zealand

Hi

Is there any way of job costing payroll in New Zealand for easy entry to MYOB business package....

Or this can only be done in Australian version?

I have had a look and seems like you can't but surely people must need to do this..

Thanks

Re: Job Costing in Payroll - New Zealand

Hi there,

In NZ Payroll, you can use department and cost centres. The cost centre becomes the job number when integrated into the accounting system. Works with classic 19.5 versions, and Accountright 2014. Not Essentials.

Re: Job Costing in Payroll - New Zealand

Hi @Acctland

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find it a wealth of knowledge

Just in addition to Jennie's post: Support Note: Integrating Payroll with your accounting software would show you the process, if you wanted to integrate your Payroll costcentres to  AccountRight's jobs.

If I can add anything if you did want to journals to follow through to AccountRight with Jobs you need to make sure that the Job Number is the same as the Costcentre code in Payroll.

Kind regards,
Steven
