Public holiday pay calculation

I employ a casual employee who worked for a few months, (September to December) with varying daily hours, and is now working for us again for a couple of months, again with varying daily hours, how do I calculate the hours that he worked on two public holidays?

Hi @cjp 

You would look at the number of days worked over the last 12 months and work out an average per day.

You would pay the public holiday at this rate - as long as this would have been a working day.
