exporting payroll reports to Excel

I need to export a report showing the wages summary for 2014 (Jan to Dec), by employee.  I am using NZ MYOB Payroll 2014.2, stand alone package.  Any idea how I can extract such information?

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find it a wealth of knowledge

The only data that you can export out of Payroll to be opened in Excel is the Pay History. This can be done via Reports>>Period Reports>>Export Pay History. This will create a CSV file which you can open within Excel.  Apart from that there is no direct way to get the data out to Excel.

Depending on what you are wanting the data for you could run the Reports>>Period Reports>>By Employee/Pay Code (Summary) for the chosen period. You can then print it out  or sent it to PDF if you wanted a copy of that information to pass onto another party.
