We have no employees for month 06-2017.
No pay run processed. Seems to need a timesheet before pay run can process.
IR345 form generated is completely blank, no employer info, ird No. etc.
Want to send IR345 to IRD as a nil return.

New Zealand Payroll (desktop software) can produce the IRD reports for PAYE periods that have no values i.e. a nil report. This is done using the normal end of month process via Reports>>IRD Reports>>Create IRD reports. You would need to select the required month that you are wanting to report on, select IRD Approved format and select to Create CSV files for electronically filing to the IRD. The IR345 can also be created using the same process as per the normal PAYE period update i.e select Create Direct Credit file for electronic paying to the PAYE to the IRD and required the period.
Please note that this assumes you have set up IR- filing using Tools>>Options>>Bank & IRD

Wondering if you are using Essentials Payroll? rather than NZ Payroll which is desktop. You do the same in Essentials - choose Payroll - IRD returns and choose the month, and system will create a nil value return.
