printer not activated, error code 30' notification box.

Im assuming its an  update that has affected the print function in MYOB payroll. It was working perfectly fine last pay last week. I note that Windows did an update. When I went to email the payslips it popped up with the 'printer not activated, error code 30' notification box.

I am in the middle of payroll after hours and dont know how to fix this.  I believe other users have had this same problem dating back to August 2019.

Thanks

Re: printer not activated, error code 30' notification box.

Hi @KerrieC

Thank you for your post.

As you've guessed, this error generally occurs after installing a Windows update. However, don't worry, since it can usually be fixed by setting Payroll to "Run as administrator" as described below.

  1. Close Payroll
  2. Right-click the Payroll icon and choose Properties. (The Payroll icon is the shortcut you click to start Payroll)
  3. Click the Compatibility tab.
  4. Select the option Run this program as an administrator.

  1. Click OK.
  2. Open Payroll and confirm that the error is resolved.

Let us know how you get on and if you require further assistance.

Kind regards,
Jesh
