Accessing uploaded bills after terminating subscription

It has just occurred to me, with retirement in view, how to access all those bills uploaded to MYOB Essentials after I want to cease subscription. I need to access these for the past 7 years. Dows MYOB have a method of accessing these uploads or is it necessary for all subscribers to keep paying subscriptions for seven years after closing a business? Have I made a giant mistake in going paperless all those years ago?

Hi @bcroft 

 

Thanks for your post. When you cancel your subscription make sure to do the following:

  • Download copies of any documents you have in your In tray, this will have to be done on an individual basis
  • Save the data you need by exporting data or producing reports. At a minimum, you'll want the General ledger detail and the Balance Sheet report
  • If you're not sure what you should keep, check with an accounting advisor
  • (Australia only) Finalise your Single Touch Payroll information. This ensures the ATO are notified that you'll no longer be submitting payroll information from MYOB
