I was wondering if anyone can help me with an issue regarding the allocation of wages in MYOB essentials.
I have 4 employees including myself and I pay each separatley from the bank account. When the bank feeds come through and I try and match the 4 transactions only 1 employee has "possible match" next to it. The other 3 do not. Even if I click on the match tab, I am unable to find any transaction to match. I don't want to put it through as an allocation in fear of doubling up the same transaction. Any ideas on how to solve this is much appreciated.
All the unmatched employee wages are still sitting in the unallocated list.
Thank You

Thanks for your post. If the payroll transactions were already processed and paid in real life, I highly suggest to check as well the Prepare electronic payments window. One reason is that, the payroll transactions are still sitting in the Prepare electronic payments window that is why, there are no results or no matches found when you tried to match those transactions to a bank feed transaction. To check this, go to Payroll > Prepare electronic payments > Change the Payment type to Pay Employees > Change the Transactions from and Transactions To to the date of the pay run > Tick the box once the payroll transactions are showing up then click Download bank file. If the bank feed transactions are showing as an individual employee, make sure that when you download a bank file, it also matches the amount from the bank feed transaction.

Thank you so much for your help and apologies for the delay in replying. This has fixed the issue but I still have a few sitting there so I will run the "download bank file" again to see if they come across. I also changed the employee payment method from electronic to cheque.

Hi, @sapphirelinen I apologize for the late response.
To clarify, are you having an issue downloading a bank file?
If yes, can you please attach a screenshot of the error?
Regards,
Hannah
