Hi
Until Essentials was upgraded I was able to change a setting so that a PDF would automatically be attached to my invoice so that the supplier does not need to download it. Please can someone tell me where I can now find this setting?
Thanks
Simon

Hi @swarner,
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community forum ! Currently the upgraded version of Essentials doesn't have the ability to automatically attach a PDF copy of the invoice when emailing to the customer. This has been raised with our product teams as a feature enhancement in future updates.
As a work around, you can open the online invoice and download it as a PDF. This can be emailed to the customer by attaching it as a document in the email.
Do let us know if you have any further questions.

Hi Everyone
Thank you to those that have provided additional feedback on this topic.
With the emergence of e-invoicing, the focus with the newer MYOB Essentials is around delivering that invoice to users through an Invoice portal i.e. MYOB Invoice Portal. Where if recipients do wish to obtain a PDF copy of their invoices they are welcome to do so using the PDF option.
In saying that, we have received some feedback on the change and where businesses do sit with that. As a result, this has been something that we have feed back to the product teams to look at making changes to the platform to allow those PDFs to be attached to the invoices going forward. At this stage, we don't have any further information we can supply in relation to PDF attachments but it is something that we do hear customers on and something that is being looked into for the future of the platform.

Please add a button on the invoice for email pdf invoice
the process to view pdf download to computer then send to client is way too long
with multiple invoices to one client it also becomes confusing and errors can be made
Nearly all my clients require one pdf invoice sent by email
Anything different their system does not recognise invoice and i dont get paid
Its the way all larger organisations are going
I just waited on hold for 2 hours to talk to MYOB help
The best they could do for me was to tell me to get on the forum
Very Disappointed

Hi Everyone
MYOB Business/Essentials will now automatically include a PDF attachment of the invoice in the email.
This will show in the Attachments section of the Email window and can be removed if not required or download prior to emailing.

Hey, that's fantastic, so many of my customers requested the PDF as an attachment... like the old MYOB Essentials used to do. Now only if you can re-instate printing multiple invoices like the old MYOB Essentials used to do I might actually consider sticking with MYOB instead of looking at Quickbooks!
