How do I record a bond refund for renting a car in bank transaction as it's not income?

Hi @vmotion, 

Thanks for your post and sorry to see that no one has replied to you yet. From the software perspective, money returned can be recorded as Receive Money transactions, purchase refunds, journal entries or reverse the original payment transaction recorded.

However if you're unsure on how to record this refund it would best be to check with your accountant/bookkeeper to ensure that it is recorded and reported correctly into your software.
