Creating a recipient created tax invoice for services I receive

I am treasurer for an agricultural show society. Our auditor has asked me to complete recipient created tax invoices for payments I am making to people who do not provide me with an invoice. eg an honorarium or donation paid to someone.  I am trying to find out if I can do it and how to in Account Right Standard version 2013.5

Hi @HeatherD

There are specific rules relating to RCTI one being that both parties nust be registered for GST. You should check the ATO to ensure you fall into te categories permitting use of RCTI's.

Look at these 2 links.

https://www.ato.gov.au/Business/GST/Issuing-tax-invoices

https://www.ato.gov.au/business/gst/in-detail/managing-gst-in-your-business/tax-invoices/recipient-c...

You may be better to use a Statement of Supply

https://www.ato.gov.au/forms/statement-by-a-supplier-not-quoting-an-abn

To create a RCTI in MYOB, refer to this post
