Gross and Net Figures in Banking

Currently on MYOB Essentials, only the Net amount is visible on the face of the General Ledger.

It would be very helpful for the Gross Amount to be displayed also - as Banklink does.

This would make it clearer in regards to Transactions with GST.

Or perhaps a toolbar with values that can be custom selected for each user (Gross, Net, GST Amount, GST Code, Amount etc).

I agree with the premise stated above. Hope MYOB will look into this soon.

Re: Gross and Net Figures in Banking

Hi @iloveaccouting @TAXTAXTAXLUV @Pra

Thank you for your post and suggestion.  It sounds like the GST detail report would be more fitting for the information you are trying to compare.  You would include the acct. receivable, income acct and GST collected in order to evaluate the different figures.  I'll link Business Reports for additional details in Essentials.

With that said, the display that is similar to BankLink has been suggested on the idea exchange for consideration in future product development.

We appreciate your feedback. If your post has been answered please mark 'Accept as Solution' to help other users find your post easier.
