I have had lots of issues with one of my bank accounts not reconciling since the recent upgrade.
I have reversed the previously balanced (on the old version) reconicilations up to Sept 2021 to try to find the problem.
The reconciliation report is showing the correct bank balance figures at that date, however when i go to Banking>Reconcile accounts and enter the same statement date and the closing bank statement balance it is out of balance??
I dont want to undo another rec as I seem to be chacing my tail.
Prior to the upgrade I had no problem at all with my recs so I can understand what has happened

Same problem for me.
No problems with reconciliation until upgrade, now suddenly out of whack.
I have undone reconciliations all the way back to 2018 ( which previously reconciled without problems) trying to find the missing transaction/s, but no success.
Obviously a bug. Any solution proposed?

I had to get a myob accredited bookkeeping company to come in and fix it, so I am not sure exactly how they did. Now working fine for me.

I have the same issue. My bank reconciliations no longer balance. I want to finalise this quarters BAS statement however, I am spending all my time trying to find help from MYOB

I solved the problem with a workaround/hack.
I added a fake transaction so that I could complete the reconciliation.
The next month then balanced ok, but as I progressed through the monthly reconcilations (I do them in batch when I prepare for the BAS statement), I eventually ended up with a balance error equivalent to my fake transaction. I entered another fake transaction to complete the reconciliation.
At the end of all that I had a reconciled account but two fake transactions which cancelled each other out. So then I just deleted them both.
Seems to be ok now, but no thanks to MYOB support.
I think it was a bug in the back-end migation to the new MYOB essentials.

I had the same problem as you & did exactly the same, only for it do the it again. I'm so done with Myob. I wish i had stayed with Reckon.

Thanks for your message Hannah. Unfortunately, I am still unable to re-balance my reconciliations.
I was sent an email from The MYOB Team earlier this month with instructions to remedy. Followed instructions yesterday without success.
Other solutions will be appreciated.
