MYOB price increase

I am not sure what planet upon which MYOB management is living, but it surely isn't that same one I'm on.  Our community sports club (of which I'm treasurer) has just received a notice to advise that, from next month, our Essentials sub is going up by 18%.  Like, are you people for real?  COVID has crushed us.  We are having to go cap-in-hand to contractors and the like for price concessions and then MYOB comes along and goes WHACK!  This really is poor form and something we will be communicating vociferously to our members and stakeholders.

Hi @clubtreas

Have you checked your subscription to see why it has gne up so much.?There are a number of possible reasons.

However, MYOB were offering asssitance to businesses in the current environment, so call them to discuss.

Re: MYOB price increase

Hi @clubtreas

I'm really sorry to hear that your business is one of the many impacted by COVID-19. At MYOB, we understand the important role that we play in supporting the business community across Australia and New Zealand. This role is particularly important in times of uncertainty, which is why we have taken some tangible steps to help with immediate cash flow concerns:

  • The immediate suspension of price rises until further notice
  • A review of payment terms to provide flexibility to industries hardest hit
  • The implementation of a dedicated support team to manage hardship applications
  • Providing information on access to government grants

Having taken a look at your account, it appears the email may be referring to any prior discounts applied to your account, being expired. So that we can take a closer look and discuss your concerns, could you please send me a private message with your contact details, and I'll arrange  for our team to be in touch.

Cheers,
Melisa
