No administrator user in MYOB essentials and I need to ad a user.

I need to add a user to MYOB Essentials but don't have an administrator user.

MYOB support is only responding with answers that need an administrator. Looks like a bot is answering.

No solution after several emails in 2 days.

Users can be invited to an Original MYOB Essentials business in accordance with Help Article:  Users. This does need to be completed by an Administrator user.  In some rare situations, some files will not have an Administrator user only a user and we would need to set that back up for them.

It sounds like you do fall into this rare situation and as such, we would need to get some additional information from you and confirm some details before we can set up that access for you. Would you mind sending me a private message with the following information so we complete that for you:

  • The name of the business
  • The address of the business
  • The primary contact and their email address
  • The product serial number
  • The last four digits of the credit card/bank account that is making the subscription payments

Note: The above-requested information, especially the last one is to verify your identity to ensure that we are giving out the necessary access to the relevant parties.


Edited: Confirmed information and updated the user access to Administrator so can invite a user.
