Hi there,
For around a month, I've been unable to compare my profit and loss to a budget (I get the something went wrong error message). Same budget, same account worked one month ago. Phone support have had a 60 minute wait on 3 occasions so I haven't been able to get through. This is on a windows machine through essentials.
I note several other reports of this same error over the same period.
Are budgets still an advertised feature of essentials? Are there any plans for a subscription refund? Has a fix been found for this that I'm not aware of?

There is an issue with MYOB Essentials that when attempting to run a P&L report for any date range, if a user selects the option “Tick box to compare any budget” users will get an error. This is being investigated by our developers, however, I don't have a timeframe for when it will be resolved.

It used to work well and we rely on this information for business planning. It needs sorting now as a matter of priority. Its times like these businesses begin to look elsewhere.

Thanks for your reply last week. It's been...another week. It appears that this still has not been fixed.
I would have thought comparing results to a budget in an accounting program that costs $40 per month would be par for the course and a month to fix a bug that completely removes the functionality would not really be appropriate given the cost of the service.
Again, are you planning on partial refunds on subscriptions given the loss of functionality? Do you have a timeline on this fix? While we expect reasonable technical problems, it's not reasonable that this persists.

This issue is still under investigation with our developers, I'm not able to give a timeframe for when it will be resolved. We do apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Still no resolution - Something went wrong -budgets
Its been a while we need the service reinststed not the excuse "its currently under investigation"

The MYOB Essentials issue where users were getting an error when attempting to run a P&L report for any date range and selecting the option “Tick box to compare any budget” was resolved on the 29/10/2021.
Having a look at the account linked to your Forum log in you're using AccountRight so would be experiencing a different issue. If this is correct can you please provide details of your error so that we can assist.
