Wages figure not matching myob account right BAS submission.

My wages figure for quarter 3 does not match what myob account right is trying to submit for my BAS. 

Any ideas why this in variance? I've not had this problem before.

I did have a termination (my first one) at the end of January. Could that have anything to do with it? Figures still don not match though.

I have also added new employees.

My payroll activity summary is higher by 8390.

Hi @Marion08 

Thanks for your post. The payroll BAS fields get their data from the payroll categories selected in the BAS set up. If you have created new payroll categories make sure you have selected them in your BAS set up. To do this:

1. go to Prepare BAS/IAS
2. in the Lodge Online tab click on Prepare Statement
3. click on Settings
4. select Set up activity statement fields

Once you have selected the required payroll categories click on Update from ledger to refresh the BAS. The help article, Get ready to lodge activity statements online, has more information on setting up your BAS.
