delete a pay run

Hi there,

We are trying to delete a duplicate pay run. However, we could not follow MYOB's help page steps.

We cannot see "delete" option in the pay run. 

Please find the attached and advise how to delete a payrun.

We haven't linked STP yet.

Terrific! - based on the second screenshot (Pay run details window) you appear to be in the right window to delete that pay. You would just need to click into the employee's name in that window. This will load the pay window. In the bottom left would be the Delete (or Reverse) option so you can delete that indiviudal's pay.

Why is there 2 options - delete or reverse? I am trying to delete duplicate pays - it is only giving me the option to reverse. I don't want to reverse and report to the ATO!

Depending on what has occurred with that pay will depend on what options you do have in relation to deleting or editing that pay

If the pay has been accepted to the ATO through Payroll reporting you would see the Reverse option. In addition to that, if your pay has been included in an electronic payment or pay superannuation transaction then you may also see that reverse option.
