In previous version of Essentials we cc'd to office email all payslips but this ability has now seemed to be deleted . Can it be done in the present version ?

Could you advise how this improves security?
Also ,it now means that there is no confirmation that the payslips have been sent within the required period . What happens if the employee insists it was not received?

Unfortunately melissa you did not answer my question . The problem is that it is a legal requirement to send payslips to employees but myob essentials does not give a confirmation that the payslip has been emailed. Therefore an employee could say that they did not receive a payslip and under myob essentials new system there is no way to prove it was sent . Thus the need to be able to send a copy to a company payroll email as well as to the employee .
Please do answer this question rather than avoiding it please

Hi @camt,
In the upgraded version of Essentials you can check whether the payslips have been sent via the Pay Runs window under the Payroll tab. There will be a field with a tick if the payslip has been emailed.

Thank yo uMelissa and I understand there is a tick saying that an email has been sent . Unfortunately this still does not give the required legality . There is simply a tick -no date sent, etc . Why cannot either give a date sent or better still allow the payslip to be sent to the internal paymaster email -which of course is confidential within the company?

Thank you for your feedback, currently MYOB Essentials doesn't provide email tracking associated with payslips. However, it may be something that is considered in the future of the product.

It is somewhat strange tha tthe facility was in previous versions and not in this one which means the user cannot actually know if and the date of payroll slips have been sent! Plus it means if an employee disputes receiving the payslip , we have no way of legally proving it has been sent (which we are required to do if requested)
