Cannot access Exo API

Hello Guys,

This  is Risheek, I am from Perth, Australia,

We have purchased the myobi exo api and a partner company has set it up for us.

But we having probleums connecting to it. 

I am using postman to test the API and the endpoints , But i am not able to connect to the API endpoints. 

It says i am "not authorised" or "JWTauthorization".

The company that set the API for us has given us the following details:

1. API username

2. API password

3. API Token

4. we got a developer key from myobi privately.

when i use these credentials it  does not work and gives a notauthorized error or JWTauthorization.

Are we using the right credentials or should we perform a extra setup and ask for more credentials.

I am using the myobi website for my reference : https://developer.myob.com/api/exo/exo-api-overview/authentication/

I am encoding the username and password using this website : https://www.base64decode.org/

Please let us know what issues are existing? We are very exited by the possibilities the API provides!

Hi @Risheek ,

 

That kind of error usually indicates that the API Service is not running correctly on your server.

 

Here are a bunch of resources for the API, including the API Test script I wrote in Powershell before I returned to the MYOB Helpdesk:

I'm finding it very hard to get any help on the API. 

 

Am I correct in assuming that Exo Business is no longer important and support is being neglected in favor of new products?

You are incorrect about the API support situation for Exo Business, however, since our agreements with your implementing partner are that they should be your first point of call for all support queries, you should be referring to your Exo Business Partner for assistance.  If they need help with questions, they reach out to the MYOB team.
