Changes to the files listed in MY Business on initially login to MYOB.com

Hi - so when I login to MYOB.com and I'm on intial front screen under MY BUSINESSES where it lists all the companies ... there are older companies in that irrelevant to me and can be removed.  How can I remove them from this list please?

I've tried to call MYOB to do this, but of course don't have an hour to spend waiting on the phone....

Thank you for the post and I'm glad to assist you with this. Please send me a Private Message containing the following:

• Serial numbers of the businesses you wish to be removed
• Your full name and email address

Thanks for the reply - sorry for the delay in responding, but had other MYOB issues which I've been sorting out over the phone.  While I was with them, I asked about this problem and they told me that the owners of the files need to "remove me" as a user  - I cant remove them from my list until this is done apparently.

Thanks Doreen for your reply  - no it hasn't been resolved.

I cant just delete the files as they are not my files to delete and the owners would possibly need their files.  It would mean me contacting people who are either no longer in business, or have changed contact details to ask them to remove me from their "user" list .... then they would forget or not know how to do it....  so I guess the list is going to remain as long as it is forever.... lol...

Would be nice to have the facility to just hide those from the list that I don't want to see/use

Hi @Feebie 

Thanks for the update.

Since the other business are still showing from the list, a removal of a user is really needed. To move forward with this, The Help Article Edit and delete user will provide you the steps on how to do this. Please let me know how it goes.
