Excel reports formatting cells

Is it possible to have Excel Reports, generated from the Web version,  produce blank cells as number formats rather than text formats. This would help immensely in do any sort of analysis, such as adding across a trial balance. At the moment, it cant be done as it produces a #Value! Error which is very frustrating. Also, why cant totals be formula cells rather value cells.

Re: Excel reports formatting cells

Hi @DP2

Just testing the newer MYOB Essentials platform/AccountRight Browser's exports to Excel. Depending on the type of cell and information that is showing will depend on the format.

For example, looking at the Trial Balance report export the Account no and Account Name will be General with Debit, Credits, YTD Debit and YTD Credits being showing as Custom (#,##00.00;-#,##0.00). These formats would also be blank cells as well.

Kind regards,
Steven
