Hi

We have just upgraded to the latest 6016.3 from 6016.2.

Every time we log in it asks for the log in details and password. I see you can tick the box for 12hrs.

BUT in the old one you could save the login details and it would log in automaticaly when you clicked the log in button. It seems you can not now save the log in details, you have to refill them in every time you whant to log in, this is a pain in the backside, a backwards step that MYOB seem to be going in.

Thank you for your feedback regarding the security changes made in the AccountRight 2016.3 update, I have shared this with our team.

 

The changes made to the login process of AccountRight 2016.3 are designed to make your logins more secure. In AccountRight 2016.3 it isn’t possible to override this or force AccountRight to remember your login details.

I agree entirely. A major pain in the backside, and causing our staff no end of hassles.

Please reinstate it, or at least give us "low security needs" clients the option to save the password like we could before.

we now all have the password taped to our monitor anyway so it's less secure than it was before!

The changes implemented in AccountRight 2016.3 are just the initial changes in a broader overhaul of the login security processes. Can I please add my voice to the login annoyance too?  Please reinstate the old login rememberance ability.  This new way is a real pain in the butt.

i have to agree with the other uses, this change to login for security is not working for all users. I am a one person user and i dont need to log in everytime for security reason. Maybe a multiple option at log in should be considered to suit all users.
