Retail Manager

I've got a couple of questions and would appreciate some assistance. 

 

Can you have two cash registers running off the one shopfront and only one POS machine?

I need to update my hardware, how do I transfer the licenses from one computer to the next?

My new computers will have Windows 2010 , we are currently on Windows 2007, are there particular issues I should look out for?

HI @Quadrant2 

 

Assuming you have one network licence for each additional machine, you can run multiple computers linking back to the same shopfront. That said for each customer facing machine we recommend using a separate eftpos machine, linked to that computer.

 

In terms of transferring from one computer to another, I recommend having a look at our help article, Moving RetailManager to a new computer. This article steps through how to transfer the installation of RetailManager from one computer to another.

 

If you are upgrading to a newer operating system, its worth ensuring that everything you use is compatible with that operating system. This includes RetailManager, as well as things like the printer drivers

Hi @Quadrant2 

 

RetailManager v12.5, which is the latest release, is compatible with Windows 10 according to our MYOB System Requirements. Older releases like RetailManager v12 are not compatible with Windows 10 and as such may not function as expected during the installation and operation

Waiting time for support Retail Manager

Hi,

 

I'm hoping someone can help.

I have been on hold to Retail Manager Support for 2hrs and 10mins.

Is there some other way of getting through to someone. 

I have a new eftpos machine that I need to setup with the software. It is already to go. I have two tills, one is already connected to an eftpos machine.

Hi,

 

I now have my second eftpos machine but am having difficulties getting it to talk to the software, are you able to assist.

I have been on hold for over 2 hours and I can't get any assistance through support.
