Spend Money

Transactions can be posted to inactive job numbers.

This will occur if you are using a recurring transaction like "Spend Money". MYOB data entry checks for active jobs when using drop down selection, but in cases of pre-existing jobs this does not occur, thereby allowing postings to inactive jobs.

Re: Spend Money

Hi @Jeffro11

Yes this is correct, making anything inactive, whether card, item, account job etc does not prevent use of that inactive element. It simply excludes it from the drop down lists for selection. If you manually enter the card, item job etc or if this is part of a recurring template, MYOB will allow you to use the inactive element.

This is how MYOB has worked for over 20 years.

Regards

Gavin
