Unable to Perform Online or Phone Confirmation

I am using Accounting MYOB V16 and Accounting Plus MYOB V16. I realise this is an older version which I use for my own accounts (in 3 small companies) which do not involve a particularly large number of transactions.

 

When I perviously confirmed (by phone) I was using o/s windows 7. Since then I have upgraded to windows 10. I can not confirm online and when  I called to confirm over the phone I was told that my version of MYOB was no longer supported and I will have to purchase a newer version of MYOB to upgrade.

 

I find it strange that MYOB's help desk operator couldn't give me a confirmation code. I do not see my having windows 10 would prevent the operator from deriving a code from MYOB's system.
