Unable to reverse pay runs in Essentials

Only use Essentials for payroll. I spent 2hrs on MYOB chat trying to fix this before the chat dropped out.

I have 2 payruns showing for December 22 which need to be reversed. The do NOT appear in the STP report which is correct and balances. I cannot reverse them as it shows as already advised to ATO so if I reverse and report the ATO balance will be incorrect.

For some reason I suspect that MYOB was running 2 files in Dec 22. I was passed from person to person with each saying they couldnt help. Is there anyone who can provide and possible solutions.

MYOB does my head in!!!!

Thank you for your post. In regards to processing of reversal for those 2 pay runs, we recommend to have a look at this Help Article: Fixing a Pay that has all the detailed steps and information to assist you with the problem. Meanwhile, referring to the message you’re getting when trying to do the reversal, to make sure that the reversal wasn't being done yet may you please send me a private message along with the following details below so that we can check it further: 

• Serial Number
• Company name
• Your Full name and email address
• Screenshot of the two pay runs you wanted to reverse dated December 22 and screenshot of those pay runs under STP report.

The 2 pay runs I need to reverse are NOT on the STP report. STP report totals are correct. These 2 extra December payruns did NOT show up on the payrun report until Feb 23 so did not realise there was a problem. I cannot reverse them as the show as reported to ATO which they have not so if I reverse then the ATO figures will be incorrect.

I understand you send me a copies of the report, my apologies but I wasn't received the copies of that report. Would it be possible if you can send me a screenshots of that report. And kindly check if all the figures in payroll reporting is correct.

Thanks for your reply. Wages shown in pay runs is incorrect as there are 2 extra pays in December that did not  appear until Feb 23. Therefore we have 14 pay runs for the year instead of 12. (monthly pays) I cannot reverse them as they say they have been notified to ATO but THEY HAVE NOT. ( Our accountant checked). So payrun totals are 2 pays extra. The STP totals , which do not show these 2 pays at all are correct.

I cannot reverse as if notified to ATO the annual wages will actuslly be 14 months.
