Amend a filed AIM return

When an AIM return has been filed with the IRD, but is an amendment is needed (prior to next AIM period) can a return be amended and resubmitted?

Other software allows this, but I can't seem to see how this is done in MYOB essentials.

When IRD is contacted they advise amendement needs to be done via accounting software.

Thanks for your post and welcome to the Community Forum! So I can take a look into this for you can you please confirm which product of ours you're using ? 

Also, can you confirm if you've received a rejected error from aim ? If you have can you attach a screenshot of the exact error.
