I have had one of my clients question an invoice that they received. They sent me the invoice. It had a very old date in the date feild 25/01/2018. It had an invoice number higher than the invoice number I am up to.
My contact details and bank details were unaltered. The Bill to and Ship to were business I have never heard of and other information was people unknow to me. The client received this with a link for payment so I expect the scammer hoped they would just click the link and be fooled into paying this.
Even the GST did not make sense as it was set to 10% and in NZ it is 15%.
As this is a one man business I know my clients and I am the only staff person.
