Transaction updates

Is it just me or is MYOB the slowest system in the world in lodging transactions from bank feeds? Why would this be the case as my bank shows the transactions immediately and yet I can wait for several days for some to  show up??  

Can anyone shed light on why this is???????

Hi @Maarty 

Which bank are you getting bank feeds from. Ours is Westpac and shows up by 9.00am every morning. Another thought - is it maybe being stopped by the firewall?

Yip, with Westpac.

The inconsistancy with which only some transactions are received is really annoying. 

Its not the firewall!

Some transactions come through in the middle of the same day, others take days. (and not only cheques!)

The irony here is that 5 minutes after I posted ths morning I received 17 transactions, several of which are several day in their travels!

Go figure????

Hi @Maarty 

That certainly sounds strange. My understanding is that Bank feeds gather these transactions overnight and feed into MYOB the next morning. I've never had a problem with Westpac, or any of the main banks. So a phone call to MYOB Bankfeeds might be in order to ascertain what the problem is.

Hey @Maarty,

Thanks for your query.

The reason why it takes so long for the Bank Feeds to come through is because we don't read the data online straight from your netbank. The bank sends the transaction data to Bank Link which then integrates into MYOB through Bank Feeds. The delay you are experiencing sounds like the processing time of the bank sending the transaction data to Bank Link.
