Unable to access restored backup file offline

Hi, I tried to restore my MYOB back up file locally to my PC. I have done all the steps in restoring the backup without any problem.

I was asked to upgrade my file. I did that sucessfully.

The problem is when I try to open the file by choosing it from My Liabray, it asks me for the password which I have entered it. And then nothing happens. The application decided to close itself after a few seconds. Please help.

Re: Unable to access restored backup file offline

Hi @SMLisa

Thank you for your post. I'd recommend taking a look at our help article Unable to open recently upgraded company file, this has information and instructions on how to resolve this issue. You will need to first check the diagnostic log of the file to see if you're experiencing the InvalidFingerPrint error and then run the hotfix tool.

Do let me know how you go.
