ATO outage notice - 24/7/2017 [Resolved]

Hi All!


[RESOLVED: This issue is now resolved.  Queued returns have been transmitted to the ATO]


on the evening of the 22nd of July, the ATO had scheduled maintenance to update their PLS systems to correct issues with lodgements being rejected incorrectly.


Since the end of the scheduled maintenance, we noticed a number of returns failing to transact, then get rejected on retry.  


We have notified the ATO of this issue during the course of Sunday, and are queuing messsages until the ATO issue is resovled to prevent further rejections.


This outage affeccts the following services :


  • All AO and AE Desktop tax lodgement via PLS (you can still lodge, but we won't send the return to the ATO till it's resolved)
  • Online Tax products (you cannot create new forms, or finalise existing forms)
  • Online BAS in AccountRight Live

Once we have confirmation that this is resolved, we will update this post.
