A NFP setting up salary packaging (not super) in STP

Previously  set up up under deductions and exempt from PAYG so it reported on the payment summaries

Do I need need to change this so it correctly calculates the employee's gross less the packaging for STP.

It is not salary sacrifice to superannuation but general salary packaging that we administer in house

Re: A NFP setting up salary packaging (not super) in STP

Hi @DJ74

I would go back to basics and determine the ATO Reporting Category it does need to be reported under. Once that has been determined you can set up that category based on that ATO Reporting Category.

If the value is not required to be reported, then you retain the existing setup and ensuring that the ATO Reporting Category as Not Reportable would be the way to go.

Kind regards,
Steven
