Hi,
Every payroll run since April we have this Status (Accepted with errors) which shows . A field contains invalid data (such as letters in numeric or date field). (ATO error code: CMN.ATO.GEN.XML03)
I have checked every employee but no field with invalid data.
Also our records doesnt match with the Prefill ATO record.
Can someone please help. I was on the phone on hold for more than an hour and end up no customer service.
thanks & regards

I am getting this error as well but it only appeared when I tried to finalise my payroll for this Financial Year. MYOB also shows an error for this employee only - it is showing a GROSS payroll figure of zero.
I have checked the payroll summary, payroll activity report which are both showing her gross value correctly. Error only appears on the EOFY screen and subsequent STP EOFY finalisation reports. I too spoke to MYOB - waited for over an hour then the help desk person who sent me a link to an old MYOB product which refered to EMPDUPE files !!!!

Hi
I had this error a couple of years ago (with EMPUPD file). Check for spaces, at the end of the employee name, addresses and email addresses. Also double spaces in names and addresses.
Hope this helps.

This is the same issue I have - only showing up as an error for the EOFY STP report and I think I have checked everything and still not working. Did you end up finding a solution? Surely it's not the "@" in the email addresses in the employe details? Thats the only thing I can think of thats left!

Hi - my accountant sorted it - telling me:
I can’t explain what the issues were. It seems there are some problems occurring between the MYOB software and the ATO.
I spent quite a bit of time reviewing and assessing your data and could find nothing wrong. I trialled another STP finalisation which didn’t work. So I processed a further $nil pay run which eventually accepted, following by another STP finalisation which also eventually accepted.

The issue did resolve. I'm not sure what actually fixed the issue - this is what I did. I retyped the employee's name, dob, tfn and address details. Also processed a 0 payroll, logged out of everything, logged back in and then reran the stp finalisation. All the best.

Have encountered the same error on every employee on the 2022 STP Finalisation

The issue has been sorted.
I was told to upload the file online, process an event and somehow it was accepted with no errors.
thank you all.

Do I need to process a zero pay for every employee to resolve this problem?
