Changing payroll software mid year from MYOB to Xero

Hi, I have a client who has just changed software from MYOB to Xero.  I am wanting to Nil out the payroll that has been processed in MYOB to date so as the entire year can be reported in Xero for STP purposes.

Can you please advise how I do this in MYOB?  Is it just a matter of processing a negative pay for the wages to date for the employee and lodging the STP file or is there something else I need to do to finalise STP in MYOB as Nil?

Thanks

Hi @Carissa_B

Thanks for your post. You can process negative pay runs. Or, you can zero out the Pay history in the employee card>>Payroll details tab>>Pay history, then send an update event to update STP.

Once the YTD amounts in the YTD verification/Summary of payments reports are all zero finalise the employees in the EOFY finalisation tab.

Please let me know if you need further help.
