So after EOFY I conntected to the ATO for STP.
I did this via PAYROLL REPORTING and the 'Connect to ATO' button.
I processed my first payrol and checked that i could see the file as ACCEPTED in the payroll reporting centre.
This week I have gone to do my pays and the little box that asked for me to enter my name didnt pop up. After I finished processing my payrol I went to PAYROLL REPORTING and it had the button 'Connect to ATO' again????
I clicked through the process and it showed me the Payroll Reporting Centre with only last weeks pays not this week.
I exited and closed the program to restart, and when I go back in now i get the same thing. The button still says 'Connect to ATO' and when I press it - it takes me to the reporting centre????
Is this a error? what did i do wrong for this weeks payrol run? how can I be sure that next weeks run will process and report to ATO correctly?

Thanks for your post, and I'm sorry to hear that you are having troubles with STP working properly.
Before I can look into this further with our relevant teams, can I please confirm with you if you are also still having to go through all the steps listed in this link Task 2 - Connect to the ATO for Single Touch Payroll reporting including the steps for "Someone from the business" / "I am a tax or BAS agent"?
If I can know whether this is just a display glitch and the "connect to ATO" button takes you straight to the payroll reporting center, or that you need to do all steps it would help as we look for the cause. I notice as well in some of your other posts that you mention working offline, and was wondering if you could give any additional information as to the circumstances of your reporting.
Thank you for your patience as we investigate this, and we appreciate any additional insight you are able to provide to us. We look forward to being able to provide a response to your issue as we understand more about it.

Hello @Andrew_Y ,
Thank for replying -
I do NOT have to go through the Set Up Steps again it takes me straight to the Payroll Reporting Centre once I click the CONNECT TO ATO button
My guess is it is some type of glitch, but the most concerning part is that the last payrol processed was not reported and sent to the ATO. The box to enter my name did not appear due the process and the last payroll doesnt appear in the Payroll Reporting Centre.
All the transactions for this file are ONLINE - I work on mulitple files and this is not one I take offline. So the issues I have reported in other posts are not in relation to this file.
As a extra Question - The file I am have this issue with is used online at multiple locations on different PC/ Laptops, does the device the payroll is processed on require access to the AUSKEY related to the business?
I only ask as I work on mulitple files and the only difference I have noted is this particular file, payroll is processed on a laptop onsite and there is no Auskey on the device - Probably not relevant but just checking.

Thanks for that extra information, that was incredibly helpful.
To answer your additional enquiries, you don't need an AUSkey specifically for STP according to the ATO. You do need to Add declarer for STP if you are wanting any other users on your file to perform STP reporting. The extra insight about your multi location use and device is noted and appreciated.
I am concerned that you are not getting any of the confirmation that you typically would for What happens after I've set up Single Touch Payroll?
As you mention multiple devices and locations, are all machines running with the latest version 2019.2.1?
It would be worth noting if the user is one authorised for STP (see articles), and whether or not the confirmation "Payroll reporting ready" to go is also missing when doing payroll ( I suspect from your original description that this is also true).
I may need to investigate further with our specialists, and would appreciate if you could supply the last 4 digits only of the serial number for your product, as well as the company file number (Help > About MYOB AccountRight) so I can know which file we are talking about.
Your patience and assistance in this is greatly appreciated as we look further into your issue.
EDIT (new information): @ntoumba Can you please click on 'turn on STP reporting' under reports in the PRC - select the tax year 2018/19 and then try again?

Hello Again @Andrew_Y ,
Company File ID: 13
Serial Number : **** **** 5990
Yes I am definatley not getting the Confrimation that I should (as I have seen in my other files)
- In the process payroll window it does NOT show the "payroll reporting ready to go'' and ATO logo
- While processing the confirmation box to enter my name doesnt appear
As we run all devices at different locations online they are all upto date and on the same latest version 2019.2.1
We also only have one User set up - Administrator (there may be a second user that the account uses occasionally?) But I cant log in to my.myob to check at the moment.
I appriecate the help and look forward to hearing back from you. I will have to process payrol for the staff on Friday morning, if this is not resolved by that time i assume it will be fine to still process until a resolution is found?

Thanks for your followup message and our further discussions in private messaging.
I'm glad that we were able to narrow the cause down and fix things using the "Turn on STP reporting" option found in the Payroll Reporting Center (PRC) Reports section.
Please don't hesitate to reach out again if you have any other queries regarding STP. I hope that we and the community can do our best to point you to the information you need.
