EOFY Finalisation 2021 - employees unable to get their reports

this is the 1st year for STP and we balanced our payroll in July, ticked all the boxes in payroll reporting centre and clicked box set as final but our employees are saying when they go to Mygov the message "tax not ready" shows.  we finalised this mid July.  can you help please

Hi @meldon

 

Thank you for your post. Each employee that has been finalised will have a final indicator tick in the Payroll reporting centre next to there names which indicates that employees can sign in to their myGOV to complete their tax returns.  if this is showing in the payroll reporting centre I would recommend contacting the ATO to see why the status is not tax ready as of yet.

Thanks Melisa, I notice there is a Jobkeeper tab now - not sure what we have to do with this? Can you help

This tab is available for claiming JobMaker, information on this can be found on this following help article. This is only required to do if you need to claim JobMaker

Melisa can you just confirm that the JobKeeper tab has nothing to do with the EOFY Finalisation for 2021?

Hi @meldon

 

The JobKeeper tab was for making JobKeeper notifications to the ATO, this is explained on our help article COVID-19 wage subsidy (JobKeeper) payments.

 

All end of year finalisation needs to be done through the EOFY tab in the payroll reporting centre. This is explained on this help article
