EOFY Finalisation with AccountEdge

I notice there is no EOFY Finalisation procedure in the Payroll reporting section of AccountEdge v18.5 (there is one in Accountright)

Will one be added to a later version of AccountEdge?

Hi @Adrian_Stewart 

 

AccountEdge's Help Article: Single Touch Payroll reporting Sections: "To create an Update event" & "To finalise an employee" would be the process to follow for the end of the payroll year.

 

To my knowledge, we are not intending to make dramatic changes to Payroll Reporting in AccountEdge, that will make it similar to AccountRight/MYOB Essentials and the Payroll Reporting Centre.

Steven,

 

Can I ask please.... we used to enter RFBA amounts on payment summaries prior to STP. Accountright has addressed the issue under STP whereby in "EOFY Finalisation" we can click on an employee and enter the RFBA amount but AccountEdge "To create an update event" and ''To finalise an employee" that you directed me to dont seem to accomodate entering RFBA amounts. 

Would appreciate your advice.

Hi @Adrian_Stewart 

 

To enter Reportable Fringe Benefit amounts for AccountEdge you would

  1. Select to Create Update Event
  2. Tick the relevant employee(s) before ticking Final Submission
  3. A Reportable Fringe Benefits button will then appear in the bottom right side of the window where you can enter those amounts before sending to the ATO.
