ETP not showing in STP report

Hi,

We have an employee with an ETP which is not included in the STP report.

Tax, gross wages & super are all correct.

The only problem is the missing ETP in the STP report.

The employee has been terminated in the STP termination section also.

Originally the report was showing a double ETP for the same amount, a MYOB technician fixed the problem, but now there is no ETP showing anymore.

I'm using account right.

Any suggestion please?

I've been waiting on the phone for hours and no one at MYOB has been able to help me out.

I am using AccountRight.

 

I also have an issue with ETP amounts not showing in the STP Reports.  The ETP's were paid when I was using STP.

 

The "Payroll Reporting - Year-to-date verification report" has the 'Gross Payments' amount correct (i.e. it excludes the ETP amounts) but the ETP values do not then show in the 'ETP - Taxable Component' line.

 

The "Summary of Payments" report for the individual employee shows the correct 'gross payments' figure (i.e. excludes the ETP amount), the 'PAYG withholding' is the total tax deducted (including the tax on the ETP).  There does not appear to be an ETP Payment Summary generating (and if it did, it seems that it wouldn't have any tax allocated to it).

 

Is there a step that needs to be done in order for the ETP Statements to generate (including the tax deducted from them)?

i am having the exact same thing happen in my reports, would also love to know if there is some other step to produce the report to employee and ATO correctly

I am also having this issue with one employee.  Everything else is correct however ETP Gross payment is missing.

 

Please advise how to correct so we can finalise the employees pay.

Thanks everyone,

 

I fixed the problem creating a payslip with the ETP component only ( no Tax and super ) and sent to the STP payroll and then I deleted the payslip and it worked.

Please note the tax and super were already correct.

Hi @HayleyProtect 

 

The solution by @PaulDigre is the only one I know of that works, but we had to setup and use an ETP - Salary payroll item for it to work, as the ETP - Hourly one won't go through... No idea why that is !

 

Just remember to have everything else in the pay run zero (including tax), and to delete it after sending it to the ATO so MYOB doesn't double count...
