Multi currency and STP

Am I correct in saying that clients who currently use multi currency on the old desktop Premier version of MYOB are caught between a rock and a hard place, as no cloud based MYOB product supports multi currency, but STP requires an internet connection?

I understand that this will help with regards to STP reporting, but what will happen after 31 May 2019? Can we read into this that multi currency will be cloud based at that stage, or will there be a work around for STP reporting?
