One Touch Payroll - data exemption

Hi

We have two payroll categories (Sick leave and Site Allowance) that won't accept an ATO reporting category we get an error message - exemptionnot deduction - see attached.

Any ideas please.

This is a particular error message that some clients have encountered when setting ATO Reporting Categories for Single Touch Payroll. Our Single Touch Payroll team are currently investigating this message. I'll let you know if I do hear any information relating to that investigation.

Sorry about the delay in getting back to you in regards to this message.

Early indications are that the company file does need to come in for an investigation and possible repair. As such, I've sent you a direct email with all the details in regards to getting that file sent in for an investigation and possible repair. All the information required is included in the email but do let us know if you have any questions about the process.

Would please give me an indication of how long you may need to hold our data file for investigation. The time you require it for will impact on our timing of sending the file to you.

With AccountRight 201x investigation and repairs, the team do take a look and repair the company file the company file that is initially sent in. They will then send back the file for you to check. If you are happy and can continue to work on that file you are away to go. If you are happy but have worked with the company while we have had it initially they can arrange for the current company file to come in for the same fix. We do use this process to limit the amount of downtime that a user would be without their company file.
