STP - ATO Reporting Categories for Superannuation (Aust only) - update

Productivity Super and Redundancy Super are Not Reportable, under STP.

- as they are not Reportable Employer Superannuation Contributions.

The reason is that "employer super contributions made under a collectively negotiated industrial agreement."  are not reportable. See this ATO Guide to preparing payment summaries

Productivity Super and Redundancy Super entitlements are created under collectively negotiated industrial agreements - so they are NOT reportable under STP.

Also, Productivity Super and Redundancy Super are additional to SGC Super - so they don't fall under SGC

Spouse Super will be Not Reportable - except where it's paid as part of a salary-sacrifice plan,  in whic case it will be a Reportable Employer Super Contribution.
