STP - ATO Reporting Categories for Unused Annual Leave, Unused Long Service Leave and Annual Leaving Loading

Just wondering if anyone has further thoughts on the ATO Reporting Category for

  1. Unused Annual Leave
  2. Unused Long Service Leave
  3. Annual Leave Loading on Unused Annual Leave

This is associated to two separate Reasons.  On Termination and on Redundancy.

Here is the link to the ATO source information.

https://www.ato.gov.au/Rates/Schedule-7---Tax-table-for-unused-leave-payments-on-termination-of-empl...

On Termination

As per the ATO it defines that this is reported as Wages & Salary. For AccountRight Live reporting, this would then normally mean Gross Payments but there is the option in AccountRight to link to Lump Sum A - Termination.  Which one is the correct one as the ATO clearly defines Wages and Salary not a Lump Sum A reporting category.

On Redundancy

This is very clear.  Use Lump Sum A - Redundancy.

Saying that, now that we allocated these to separate ATO Reporting Categories, I believe we will need to ensure that there is a Payroll Category set for each Reason (Termination or Redundancy).

Your thoughts and comments are appreciated to demistyfy more on STP.
