I have run a dummy prepare payment summaries verification report , all correct and reconciles , just checking for my own peace of mind that all info was correct . I need to report through STP , all employees , figures correct for 2 other allowances , however travel allowance ($42 ) not showing so the EOY Finalisation report is out by this amount. I have scrolled down and it is not there. Everything else correlates. After I sort this out Im good to go!

Hi Heather, I can not offer any help but have the same problem as you, so was hopeing someone can assist.
I report Location Allowance which is not a taxable income and I selected Other Allowance in the categories window. Now when running hte STP payment summaries and verification report the Other Allowances do not appear. If I run the Prepare Payment Summaries (the old way) the location allowance does appear - as it is an payroll category I select.
I have rung the ATO and at this stage they can not offer any assistance (I am waiting for a call back).
If this is a MYOB error I would appreciate some assistance.
I would ensure that the Allowance has been allocated correctly with the payroll categories. I would run a zero payrun for that employee and then check and see if your report has been amended.
Thank you, yes I have checked the categories to be correct and have thought about running a nil payrun just a bit unsure. If I run a nil pay run does that go to the ATO ? or just update my figures in MYOB.
It will only go to the ATO if you declare and report it. You can skip the declaration.

I rechecked everything again, unticked , ticked etc , allocations etc. Then ran a O report again on this particular employee , this time it was picked up . Problem solved Though not sure where it was incorrect !

Well I did the Nil pay run for 6 employees - 2 are paid monthly and those have come thru into the STP reporting centre. the other 4 are paid fortnightly and they are nto showing up.
I have checked all the pays to make sure I had the correct date which I put as 28th June. I have closed doen my MYOB file and re-opened it but still they are not showing up ??
