STP - Lodgemnet with ATO

I have made my first pay run with STP. As part of the process, it asked i log into MYOB, which i did. I did not get confirmation that file was sent to ATO. Any way of checking this?

Re: STP - Lodgemnet with ATO

Hi @FinPlan

You will be able to check on your lodgements by going to Payroll > Payroll Reporting > Payroll Reporting Centre.

The reports sent will show in this screen.

If you processed a pay prior to signing up it will not display in this screen.

If you processed a pay afterwards and there is nothing showing can you please check in the Process Payroll screen and see if you have the banner for 'Payroll Reporting Ready to Go'

Please let me know how you get on with this.

Re: STP - Lodgemnet with ATO

Thnaks very much. I found it but it said"rejected" with the following message

STP

  • Your nomination with the online (cloud) software provider does not contain the correct Software ID. (ATO error code: SBR.GEN.AUTH.008)

Is that an error with MYOB or on my side?

Please confirm

Kind regrds

Re: STP - Lodgemnet with ATO

Hi @FinPlan

This particular error is with the Entered Software ID in the Business Portal.

The messaging from the ATO Authentication Errors page shows the messaging of

"Check and update your hosted SBR software ID through Access Manager or by phoning 1300 852 232."

So check the Software ID from your software (You can get this from Payroll > Payroll Reporting > Payroll Reporting Centre > ATO Settings > Enter your ABN and it will appear with the Software ID)

Once confirmed that the software ID matches in both Portals, let us know and we can look into this further.

Re: STP - Lodgemnet with ATO

Hi @FinPlan

As per the message above you will need to log in to your Access Manager Portal or contact the ATO to check the software on their end is correct.

"Check and update your hosted SBR software ID through Access Manager or by phoning 1300 852 232."

If these match then we can troubleshoot further.

Re: STP - Lodgemnet with ATO

Thanks very much. I have changed the software ID in Access Manager. I assume i need to resubmit the notification that was rejected. How do I do that?

Re: STP - Lodgemnet with ATO

Hi @FinPlan

Great to hear that it has been resolved!

As you currently cannot resubmit rejected pay events there are two resolutions for this:

  1. Delete and re enter the pay run that has just passed.
  2. Do nothing until your following pay run which will update the Year to Date figures with the ATO.
