STP2 - Accepted with errors

Hi

I have several payruns that have the same error codes. How do I fix these? Thanks

• Overtime Amount must be left blank
  (ATO error code: CMN.ATO.PAYEVNTEMP.000361)
• Paid Leave Must be left blank
  (ATO error code: CMN.ATO.PAYEVNTEMP.000370)
• Salary Sacrifice must be left blank
  (ATO error code: CMN.ATO.PAYEVNTEMP.000245)
• Cessation Reason Code must be provided
  (ATO error code: CMN.ATO.PAYEVNTEMP.000239)

Thanks for your post. The error code ATO error code CMN.ATO.PAYEVNTEMP.000239 Cessation Reason Code must be provided, means that you haven't entered a termination reason for an employee. Typically this happens if the employee was terminated in Phase 1 and you've moved to Phase 2 as a termination reason is required in Phase 2. To fix this error go to the STP reporting centre>>Employee terminations tab>>undo the termination>>redo the termination and select a termination reason.

The other errors all indicate an issue with the Income type selected in the employee cards>>Payroll details tab>>Taxes>>Income type. If Labour hire is selected as the Income type, the ATO don't allow payments of overtime and leave for Labour hire. You will need to confirm the correct Income type is selected.
